Public Administration
Public Administration Campus (PAC) was established as a constituent campus of Tribhuvan University (TU) in 1976. At present, it has around 19 ropanies (10,000 square meters) of land in a peaceful locality nearby the Office of the Controller of Examination, TU, Balkhu. It is located at the premise of Tribhuvan University and is easily accessible from different parts of Kathmandu Valley.
Public administration education was limited to the Diploma in Public Administration (DPA), a full fledge two-year academic program, until 1979. After that, PAC started to offer Master of Public Administration (MPA) program. It has also started 4 year Bachelor of Public Administration Program (BPA), focused at students who want to pursue their career in civil service or other administratiive poistions.
Public Administration Campus introduced the semester system at Master level and it is dedicated to advance the academic values, performance and teaching-learning activities of MPA program. Therefore, the Campus has adopted newly introduced semester system in MPA with great efforts since 2014.
